Man issued parking ticket in Bournemouth by London traffic warden

Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) are issued by Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs) for parking violations, with fines of £70 or £50, reduced by half for early payment. Violations include parking on yellow lines, school markings, dropped kerbs, or in disabled bays without a Blue Badge. Mark Pomes, a resident of Durley Gardens, received a notice despite no visible parking restrictions, causing concern among residents. A CEO confirmed the ticket was from a London Traffic Warden due to local staffing shortages. BCP Council clarified that agency CEOs support parking enforcement during peak times, and individual cases are handled as per standard processes.
