Bournemouth food market granted licence to sell alcohol

Bournemouth Food Market Ltd has submitted a proposal for a new premises license allowing on and off sales of alcohol daily from noon to 10 PM at their food market on Old Christchurch Road. The venue will operate from 8 AM to 10:30 PM. Previously a Pizza Hut, the space will now host five independent businesses, including a bar— the sole alcohol seller. Director Micheal Labidi aims to revitalize the high street while ensuring it remains a restaurant, not a nightlife venue. Conditions include a strict Challenge 25 policy, staff training, and participation in the local Pubwatch scheme.
