Just1swap, based in Christchurch Road, is launching a doorstop delivery service aimed at eco-conscious shoppers within a 12-mile radius. Customers can order products online, placing their containers for collection at home. This service promotes sustainability by using personal containers, in contrast to traditional supermarkets. Charges are based on the net weight of products delivered, ensuring customers only pay for what they receive. Owner Ellen Savva emphasizes the importance of supporting the community and reducing waste. The service will officially launch on April 17 and includes a gathering featuring local dignitaries to celebrate the initiative.
