Colten Care’s Whitecliffe House in Blandford hosted an Oscars-themed event to celebrate residents and staff with a Hollywood-inspired atmosphere. The lounge featured glamorous decorations, canapés, and live entertainment by Frank Sinatra tribute artist Scott Free, who performed classic hits. Awards were given in categories like Best Dressed and Most Likely to Make a Speech. Resident Margaret Oliver praised the event, calling it one of her best afternoons. A raffle raised £190 for the home’s selected charity, the Blandford foodbank and larder, Nourish. Staff and residents enjoyed a memorable afternoon filled with fun and music.
