Bournemouth Freemasons distributed nearly £100,000 to local charities during their annual event, benefiting around 30 organizations. A total of £98,220.78 was allocated, with significant donations going to the Beach Appeal at Bournemouth Hospital and other groups like Elsie’s Rose and Macmillan Caring Locally. Town Mayor Councillor Jackie Edwards also received a cheque for the Bournemouth Natural Sciences Society. Chris Lockwood, a Freemason leader, expressed admiration for the local charities’ efforts and affirmed their commitment to continued support through fundraising and volunteer work.
