The Focus Café will open at the Focus Centre in Swanage by the end of May, under the Swanage and Purbeck Development Trust. It aims to provide a welcoming space for social connection and access to local support services. Managed by Allsort’d CIC, it will also offer training and employment for adults with learning disabilities. The café will host community groups and feature a redesigned garden area that promotes wildlife. The SPDT is close to its fundraising goal and encourages local contributions to finalize funding. This initiative seeks to reduce loneliness and foster well-being in the community.
