BCP Council has initiated a public consultation for its new Local Plan, guiding land use and development until 2043 in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. This six-week scoping consultation invites residents, businesses, and groups to identify key issues, such as housing, job growth, and infrastructure. Simultaneously, a Call for Sites encourages landowners and the public to propose development locations. Responses will inform a second consultation later this year, focusing on the plan’s vision and strategy. A final proposed plan will be submitted for government examination between September and November 2027. Councillor Millie Earl emphasizes the importance of community input.
