On May 15, employees from Barchester Healthcare’s five Dorset care homes participated in the University Hospitals Dorset’s annual Twilight Walk, raising funds for the hospital’s breast cancer department. Michelle Venn, a home services advisor, highlighted the event’s community spirit and the team’s pride in supporting a cause close to their hearts. Despite chilly weather, participants enjoyed the challenge, which included 3k, 5k, and 10k routes along Bournemouth beach. Staff and residents from various care homes contributed by providing goodie bags to finishers, showcasing the collective effort and support from the community in fundraising.
