Dorset Community Foundation Launches Green Futures Fund

The Green Futures Fund, launched by Dorset Community Foundation chair Tom Flood CBE at Knoll Beach, aims to engage young people in environmental projects across Dorset. Flood has committed £25,000 annually for three years from the Paul Cornes Fund, hoping to attract matching donations for a total of £50,000 each year. Grants of up to £5,000 will support initiatives in water conservation, education, and career guidance. Flood highlighted the urgent environmental challenges in Dorset, emphasizing the need for community action. The fund aligns with broader efforts to promote sustainability and empower youth in making a positive impact.
