Charlotte Mandale, 26, became the youngest female chair of Puddletown Cricket Club in 2022, overcoming a life-threatening car crash at 17 that left her with severe injuries and questions about her ability to walk again. After extensive rehabilitation, she returned to cricket and now leads an all-female committee, inspiring women in the Dorset cricket community. Charlotte is dedicated to making the sport more accessible for girls and highlights the growth of female teams and opportunities since she started. Her efforts have earned her recognition from the ECB as part of a campaign spotlighting women in cricket.
