A 35-foot vessel carrying two individuals and a dog was found drifting near Studland Beach on June 8. The UK Coastguard alerted Poole RNLI, which launched a lifeboat at 6:00 AM to assist. Upon arrival, they ensured all on board were safe and secured the yacht with a tow line. The vessel was then carefully maneuvered into deeper water and anchored safely in Studland Bay. The RNLI crew member returned to the lifeboat, which was ready for service by 8:00 AM. After a debrief, the volunteers resumed their regular workday.
