Adventure Wonderland decision delayed again

Plans to transform the former Adventure Wonderland theme park into a mixed-use leisure, tourism, and education destination will not be decided this week as anticipated. Proposals include reopening the café, retaining the maze, creating gardens, adding mini golf, and repurposing the karting track. The application also seeks retrospective permission for existing uses and a commercial airport parking operation. Initially scheduled for review by BCP Council’s planning committee on May 28, the meeting was canceled due to an administrative error. A subsequent meeting on June 5 was postponed, with the committee agreeing to defer the application for future consideration this summer.
