Southface Dermatology Clinic mole check event raises £1,445

On May 30, Southface Dermatology Clinic hosted its largest Free Mole Check Event, screening over 300 individuals and raising £1,445 for the British Skin Foundation. Dr. Helen Robertshaw, the clinic’s founder, expressed delight in the event’s success, highlighting the importance of early melanoma detection for saving lives. Many attendees raised concerns about suspicious moles or personal/family histories of skin cancer. Encouraged by the turnout, Dr. Robertshaw announced plans to expand the event next year, urging interested individuals to join the clinic’s mailing list for future updates.
