On June 4, residents and staff at Barchester Healthcare’s Hyacinth House care home in Wimborne celebrated National Cheese Day with a tasting event. Chef Boris prepared a diverse selection of cheeses, paired with crackers, pickles, chutneys, and grapes, along with drinks like wine and beer. General Manager Kamila Gagala remarked on the excitement among both residents and staff for the event, showcasing cheeses from Red Leicester to Stilton. Resident Jean expressed her delight at the variety, noting she enjoyed sampling many flavors. The celebration was a joyful occasion filled with delicious cheese experiences for all participants.
