Foxlease, a historic Girlguiding retreat in Hampshire, faced closure after its owners decided to sell the 65-acre property. A community campaign led by the new charity Foxies Future successfully raised over £4 million, including a government grant, to save it. Foxlease is set to reopen as a community hub and adventure center, offering activities like zip-lining and kayaking. Its rich heritage will be preserved, alongside plans for restoring the Georgian manor house, making Foxlease a vibrant destination for outdoor adventure and community engagement for generations to come.
