Bournemouth and Poole College has received keys to its new Lansdowne campus, featuring the Compass Building, a four-storey development worth £37 million, part of the government’s Further Education Capital Transformation Fund. Ann-Marie Heerey, Director of Estates, highlighted the investment’s significance for the local economy. The 8,500 sqm facility will host courses in various fields and includes public-access venues like the Escoffier restaurant and Horizon salons. The project also refurbishes the historic Clock Tower. The college plans to welcome its first students in September, with work continuing through summer to ensure readiness.
