Dorset Police responded to a single vehicle collision at Springbourne Roundabout off the A338 at approximately 7:20 PM. A car crashed into a lamppost on the slip road, causing damage; the local authority was notified. Emergency services, including firefighters and ambulance personnel, arrived on scene and the driver was taken to the hospital. The vehicle was subsequently recovered and the road was fully cleared and reopened around 9:30 PM.
