The Christchurch River Pageant, a free community event organized by local Rotary Clubs, will take place on July 25 from 11 AM to 2 PM, featuring decorated boats, paddleboards, and homemade rafts traveling from Tuckton Tea Gardens to Christchurch Town Quay. This year’s theme is historical fancy dress, encouraging entries inspired by pirates and maritime figures. After last year’s success, which drew thousands of spectators and raised over £2,500, organizers aim to increase participation and funds for local charities. Registration is now open, and everyone is welcome to join the festivities and enjoy various stalls and activities.
