Removal of RAAC from Poole Library expected to take year

Poole Central Library, located in the Dolphin Centre, operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. It offers events for various age groups along with free internet, printing, and a 24/7 drop box for returns. The library will experience some noise and disruption starting February 2025 while contractors remove dangerous reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (Raac) from its roof. However, there is no immediate risk to visitors. All library services are functioning normally, and nearby libraries remain open. Updates on services will be communicated as needed.
