Blandford United Youth FC will host its end-of-season presentation day alongside a fundraising event, Fans Vs Dementia, for Dementia UK on June 6. Participants will collectively walk or run laps to cover the distance from Blandford to Wembley Stadium and back. Club registration officer Hannah Pipe emphasized the goal to unite community involvement while raising awareness and funds for dementia. The event, organized entirely by volunteers, includes incentives like awards for most laps. Local businesses contributed raffle prizes, enhancing support and participation from players, parents, and community members in this meaningful initiative.
