Several proposals for temporary or pop-up campsites under the Habitats Regulations have been submitted. At Purbeck View Farm, an application for 30 pitches over 60 days from July 15 to September 13, 2026, has been lodged. A similar request for 10 pitches for 60 days at Threshold Farm has also been made. Additionally, a rally event in Ulwell will accommodate 27 units from August 14 to September 6, 2026. Other applications include modifications for visitor accommodation and facilities, such as a mixed-use change at The Old Malthouse and renovations at The White Swan in Swanage town center.
