The Christchurch Food Festival transformed the city’s historic streets into a vibrant food fair, featuring flying pancakes and a variety of international cuisines over the weekend. The event kicked off with an international market and pancake races, where Fishworks chef Nick Davies emerged victorious. Highlights included celebrity races with local figures, including children’s mascot Windy Miller. Bright weather attracted thousands to the food stalls showcasing French specialties and local produce, such as spicy dishes from French chef Jacky Legallet and fresh oysters. The festival aims to raise funds for Leukaemia Care through a closing dinner event.
