Fourteen handcrafted mosaics, designed by artist Matthew Byrom (known as ‘Iffy’), now adorn the sea wall between Mudeford Quay and Gundimore Beach. Celebrating local wildlife, including the Natterjack Toad and the Shore Crab, these mosaics aim to raise environmental awareness while enhancing the coastal path experience. BCP Council’s portfolio holder, Councillor Andy Martin, praised the project for fostering community engagement and creativity. Byrom facilitated workshops with local schools and community groups, making the art accessible to all and contributing to the Coastal Art Trail, funded by a UK Government grant.
