Kaos Beds on Poole Road has expressed frustration over impending nine-week gas main replacement works by SGN, beginning May 25. The project aims to enhance the local gas network’s safety and reliability by replacing old metal pipes with new plastic ones. To facilitate the work, the eastbound A35 Poole Road will be temporarily closed from Pottery Junction to Cromer Road, affecting vehicle access but allowing pedestrian and cycle passage. SGN assures that disruptions will be minimized and highlights that the new pipes will provide a reliable gas supply for decades. Residents will still have access to off-road parking areas.
