Dorset Farmer Emotionally Inspires in Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finals

Ben Chick, 27, a third-generation farmer from Sixpenny Handley, is part of the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir, which gained fame on ITV after receiving a Golden Buzzer. He described the choir’s audition as “overwhelming” and said it was a proud representation of the agricultural community. The choir aims to raise awareness for rural mental health and helped Ben cope with chronic fatigue during a challenging year. Balancing farming duties and choir practices, he finds solace in music, recalling his past as a DJ. Ben is also working on a rural indoor padel tennis club, demonstrating his commitment to community connection.
