Caravan and park home fees set to rise across BCP

BCP Council is evaluating fees for 21 caravan and park home sites in the region, mainly in Bournemouth and Christchurch. Planned increases will affect licensing fees, assessing legal requirements, and charges for site transfer. Fees will rise across five bands based on site size, from £192 to £200 for small sites to £383 to £398 for the largest. Additional charges will apply for sites over 142 homes. The license renewal cost will increase from £662 to £688, and the new charges are set to begin on October 1. Safety checks and resident consultations regarding fees remain concerns.
