Grounded Community, a Boscombe charity aiding local families, has launched its six-week “Keep It Grounded” fundraising campaign at The Secret Garden. The event was attended by local councillors and residents, featuring the unveiling of a Tree of Giving sculpture by artist Mirek Lucan, symbolizing ongoing donations. Founder Michael French emphasized the campaign’s goal of ensuring support for future generations. Grounded currently aids around 200 families weekly. The campaign, running until June 27, includes an online charity auction and the option for residents to become monthly “Friends of Grounded” for additional benefits. MP Tom Hayes praised the charity’s role in promoting access to healthy food.
