Simon Lewis, the regional hospitality manager for Kingsley Healthcare, is set to compete in the south semi-final of the National Association of Care Catering’s Chef of the Year Competition. Lewis aims to enhance dining experiences for care home residents through an “Armchair Travel” program that evokes cherished memories and curiosity. His creative menu includes dishes like vegetable chow mein and lemon chicken, culminating in a mango and blood orange tapioca dessert. A former civilian chef for Prince William and Prince Harry, Lewis previously trained at Weymouth College. The semi-final takes place in Kingston, London, on July 21.
