Serendipitous reunion with Dorset locals atop Snaefell

Anthony and Christine Oliver from Wimborne Minster traveled five miles to Snaefell, the tallest peak in the British Isles featuring an electric mountain railway. At the summit, they unexpectedly encountered a walking group from Dorset, leading to a surprise reunion with Briony Blair, whom they previously met at a church service. Briony is connected to Wimborne through her cousin, Tony Horitz, the artistic director of local theaters benefitting from this year’s Mayor’s Charities. The historic railway has been transporting visitors to the peak since 1895, showcasing the beautiful scenery of the Isle of Man.
