Travel reporter stranded in Highlands sans luggage

Chaos erupted at Heathrow’s Terminal 5 when a handling fault led to checked luggage not being loaded onto several flights, stranding passengers without their belongings. Geoff Moore, a travel reporter, experienced this firsthand, flying to Inverness but learning just 25 minutes before takeoff that no luggage would be loaded. Despite completing a detailed report for British Airways about his missing bag, he received no clear communication for over three days. Using only the clothes he traveled in, he faced challenges during his stay. Both British Airways and Heathrow acknowledged the issue but stated they were working to resolve it.
