No arrests following reported rape near Boscombe pier

Dorset Police are investigating a reported rape that occurred on Boscombe beach around 10pm on May 7. The incident, which has not resulted in any arrests, was announced by police who confirmed they were in contact with the victim. A cordon was established to facilitate inquiries from the morning of May 8 until about 2:30pm that day. Police emphasized that they are working to support the victim and gather further details regarding the circumstances of the incident. An increased police presence is expected in the area as the investigation proceeds.
