The Hawkwood Road project in Boscombe will create a new community center, 68 council homes, and a health and wellbeing space, with construction starting in June 2026. The nine-hectare redevelopment aims to improve local living conditions and reduce housing pressure. The first phase, costing £4.1 million, includes a pedestrian path linking key roads and is expected to finish by August 2027. Plans include four retail kiosks and greener public spaces. The council aims to foster a proud and functional neighborhood, with full completion projected by August 2028, following government funding through the Towns Fund for Boscombe.
