Bournemouth Beach currently has only one small outdoor fitness park, despite being a town promoting healthy living. The lack of exercise stations and facilities in parks like Kings Park and Queens Park limits opportunities for adults to engage in physical activity and social interaction. More free outdoor features, such as fitness equipment, chess tables, and table tennis, could enhance community spirit and mental wellbeing. Given the rising issues of loneliness and inactivity, BCP Council should invest in these low-cost amenities to better utilize existing natural spaces and promote healthier lifestyles for residents and visitors alike.
