Roofing materials in red sacks have been illegally dumped in rural Dorset, posing dangers to walkers and horse riders. The first incident was reported near Gales Hill at the end of March, followed by another at Zig Zag Hill in early May. Dorset Council’s environmental enforcement is investigating and seeking public assistance for information related to the fly-tipping. Councillor Jon Andrews condemned the act as harmful to the environment and costly to taxpayers. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activities related to roofing work or waste disposal by contacting the council, with assurances of confidentiality.
