All we know about AFC Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium plans

The football club plans to nearly double its stadium capacity from 11,300 to over 20,000, with a new south stand of approximately 6,800 seats, and internal renovations for improved hospitality. The expansion includes a new fanzone, perimeter fence, and upgraded media facilities. Preliminary enabling works have begun following the approval of the first planning application. A committee of councillors will discuss and vote on the proposals, which are recommended for approval due to their anticipated economic and social benefits, despite local concerns regarding light loss. If approved, final referral to the Secretary of State is necessary before construction begins.
