Colten Care’s Fernhill dementia care home in Longham hosted a lively World Cocktail Day celebration on its roof terrace, featuring a variety of colorful drinks served in sugar-rimmed glasses. Residents enjoyed fresh tropical fruits like kiwis and pineapples, while staff transformed the terrace into a Hawaiian tiki bar, complete with festive music and Hawaiian attire. Activities included games such as beach ball catch and ring toss with an inflatable cactus. Resident Kiki Tormey praised the decorations, stating, “Isn’t it wonderful!” Similar celebrations took place at other Colten Care locations in New Milton and Lymington.
