Fifty-three bags of litter collected in Bournemouth clean-up

On May 13, the seventh annual Big Bournemouth Clean Up brought together local businesses, organizations, and volunteers to address litter in the town center, focusing on areas like Old Christchurch Road and The Square. Organized by Bournemouth Town Centre BID, the event collected 53 bags of rubbish in just two hours. Director Rachel Woodward Carrick emphasized the positive impact of community collaboration, especially ahead of the busy summer season. Participants included local businesses and Bournemouth University, with support from the BID Rangers. The clean-up is part of a broader initiative to improve the town’s appearance and cleanliness.
