The 2026 Community Chest Awards, celebrating 25 years, have been launched by regional brewer Hall & Woodhouse, offering £80,000 to support charities and community groups in southern England. Chairman Anthony Woodhouse emphasized the awards’ significance in addressing growing community needs. Since its inception in 2002, the awards have provided over £940,000 to over 1,000 charities, with projects focusing on homelessness, food poverty, and mental health. Notable support has gone to Blandford foodbank, among others. Applications for the funding close on July 12, with more information available on the Hall & Woodhouse website.
