Family’s lives turned upside down following rare disease diagnosis

Lindsay Atkin from Poole shared the distressing news about her brother, Matthew Revill, diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) at age 38 after months of health decline. The rare genetic disorder leads to severe cognitive and physical deterioration. They are organizing a 25km walk along the Jurassic Coast, a route previously completed by Matthew. Funds will contribute towards a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, home adaptations, and a final family holiday.
