Jeff Mostyn has joined STARS Dorset, a charity for survivors of sexual violence, alongside actress Julie Hesmondhalgh. Previously serving as chairman of AFC Bournemouth for 16 years, Mostyn is a respected figure in the community, holding an honorary doctorate from Bournemouth University. STARS Dorset’s CEO, Helen Stevens, expressed enthusiasm for his involvement, highlighting his compassion and commitment to the cause. Mostyn stated his desire to support the organization after learning about its impactful work. Additionally, his memoir, “The Chairman,” has been shortlisted for the Football Book of the Year award at the Charles Tyrwhitt Sports Book Awards.
