The Dorset Care Association (DCA) celebrated remarkable contributions to adult social care at their annual awards on May 8. The ceremony, hosted at the George Albert Hotel, recognized 24 finalists across 12 categories, including awards for innovation, partnership, and outstanding leadership. Anna Knight, CEO of DCA, emphasized the diverse range of support provided to adults with disabilities and other complex needs. Sam Poole, from Dorset Council, presented the Unsung Hero award, praising caregivers for their dedication. Winners included the Advanced Care Planning Team and James Wood from Walc Ltd, showcasing the impactful work in the community.
