Royal Helicopter of the King Seen Over Dorset Skies

The King’s official helicopter, used for royal transport, was tracked flying from Cornwall to London on May 13, landing around 3 PM. The Leonardo AW139 helicopter, known as “Rainbow 1,” is operated by The King’s Helicopter Flight and based at RAF Odiham. It was introduced in early 2025 to replace the long-serving Sikorsky S-76 aircraft. The details of whether any members of the Royal Family were on board during this trip remain unclear.
