Members of the BCP Climate Partners group recently visited Eco Sustainable Solutions’ Chapel Gate Eco Park, focusing on large-scale recycling and waste management. With representatives from various regional organizations, the group aims to exchange ideas, enhance collaboration, and foster sustainability networks. Martin Gardner from BCP Council highlighted the site’s alignment with circular economy principles, emphasizing its role in reducing the environmental impact of waste. The 32-acre facility processes over 230,000 tonnes of organic waste annually, converting it into useful products and renewable energy. Previous tours included notable local companies and institutions, reinforcing community engagement in sustainability practices.
