Blessing Fasina, a 29-year-old from Nigeria, moved to the UK in 2023 to pursue a master’s degree and noticed a lack of public toilets. In response, he created “Where to Wee,” an app that maps nearby toilets, indicates their availability and condition, and lets users report closures. With over 3,000 users and 75,000 online impressions, the free app aims to relieve frustrations, particularly for families and the elderly. Fasina seeks partnerships with local councils to improve data accuracy. He hopes to enhance public access to toilets as a way of giving back to the community that welcomed him.
