The event at the Hilton in Bournemouth, organized for Heartbeat, featured 15 teams in a friendly quiz competition to raise funds. Matthew Cornick highlighted that many families supported by Heartbeat face unexpected crises, where the charity’s assistance becomes vital. The winning team, “Tormanators” from TorandCo, led the night’s success, along with runner-up “Dimwits,” who had the best team name. Proceeds from the event will enhance facilities at Rotary Heartbeat House, providing improved support for families during treatment. Cornick expressed gratitude for participants’ engagement and generosity during the event.
