On May 11, police were called to Wimborne Road, Winton, around 12:18 PM due to a reported disturbance involving a man lying in the road. Officers attempted to engage with him, but during the interaction, one officer was assaulted. The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker. A spokesperson for Dorset Police confirmed the situation, stating they responded to reports of the disturbance and the man’s aggressive behavior led to his arrest following the assault on an officer.
