Wimborne Community Garden earned a platinum award for its Beautiful Borders show garden at the Gardeners’ World Spring Event in Beaulieu from May 1-3. Designed by Christopher and Victoria Lawrence, the garden embodies the garden’s welcoming spirit through accessible features. Jane Benson, the garden’s lead, praised over 40 community members for their contributions, from seed growing to creating seating cushions. Judges highlighted the garden’s thoughtful design and inclusivity. Located at School Lane in Wimborne, the garden welcomes visitors on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The achievement reflects the community’s enthusiasm and commitment to gardening.
