Police cordon Boscombe beach following alleged rape incident

Dorset Police reported a rape incident on Boscombe beach, occurring around 10 PM on May 7, prompting an investigation. A cordon was established the following morning, extending from under the pier to the lifeguard tower, to facilitate inquiries and collect evidence. Police confirmed they are providing support to the victim, but no arrests have been made as of now. The cordon was put up before 7:30 AM on May 8 and removed by approximately 2:30 PM the same day. An increased police presence will remain in the area as investigations continue.
