BCP Council plans to install a traffic-controlled pedestrian crossing at the Richmond Park Road and Springbourne Roundabout junction in Bournemouth to enhance safety for families, schoolchildren, cyclists, and pedestrians. Councillor Alasdair Keddie highlighted the area’s dangers, citing numerous near misses. Fellow councillor Sharon Carr-Brown stated that the crossing will be part of a broader walking and cycling route. Residents can share their feedback on the proposal until May 22 through the council’s consultation process.
