Bournemouth Rotary recently donated £20,000 to the MS Centre Dorset, funded by a legacy from Barrie Sindall, a former president of the club. This contribution will aid in upgrading the centre’s physiotherapy suite, enhancing treatments for members. The MS Centre, operational since 1985, provides services like physiotherapy, tai chi, yoga, and social support. Centre manager Dana Logan-Watts expressed gratitude for the donation, emphasizing its impact on modernizing the physiotherapy space. The MS Centre Dorset has been an independent charity since December 2022, relying on volunteers alongside a small paid staff.
